Hello all!
Sorry I just barely got on my emails now. I've had a crazy past week. A lot of new stuff happened. I guess ill start with the big news which is that I got transferred out of Sam Cheon Po. I wasent really expecting to leave so when i got the change i was really shocked. And where im going is even more fun. Im going to the beautiful vacation Island off the south eastern coast of mainland South Korea.... 제주도 (Jae Joo Doe)!!! More specifically the city of 서귀포 (So Gwee Po). So im super excited for that. Its a beautiful tropical little island full of tourists and fun things to do.
My now former companion and trainer Elder Brown actually trained there so he gave me some info about the place. My new companion is Elder 허정행 (Ho Jeong Hang). Its about 2:30 here now and my plane doesnt take off to Jae Joo until 7:30, so im hanging out at the mission headquarters for today. Other than that big news not too much more crazy stuff has happened. It was a sad last couple days in Sam Cheon Po but Im needed somewhere else. I hope you all enjoyed conference! Id say i did but i dont get to watch until next week. Yesterday was my last day in my area and we went to the island 남해 again for the second time. Its a super pretty little island and we were able to spend some nice time with the members for the last time. We were also able to eat some very interesting stuff.
Ill tell you all to brace yourself because this one was pretty crazy. We had, among other things, this nice little squid tentacle looking soup thing. The tentacles were good so i was eating them and then i noticed this round thing in the soup. It was about the size of like an eyeball. I asked my comp what it was and he said he'd tell me after i ate it. So i ate it and it actually tasted really good. Come to find out it was an octopus ovary. Ya it was a little shocking. Im sure dad is cringing at just reading that but ya haha it was fun. You should try it. But ya nothing else to outside of the ordinary happened other than that. I hope you all have a good week.
