Well this past week has definitely been a fun one. We had some pretty awesome miracles and were able to do some fun things. We got some haircuts which was pretty exciting. Especially since I literally had no idea what to tell the lady to do to my hair. But she just asked if i wanted it short and i said yes and she didnt say another word. I guess shes had other american missionaries getting there haircuts there.

For just about the whole past week its been raining cats and
dogs. We had district meeting in 진주 on wednesday and forgot our umbrellas so when we came back to our area me and my comp just got drenched. Because we had to walk to the church which is in the opposite direction of our house and then walk all the way back to our house. It was fun. Another fun thing is that are missionary fund got a little messed up so we got our money late. And so we were like broke and didnt have any money for a little while. So we ate plain rice for a couple days. Super fun!

Also about last thursday we were walking down
to the mailroom when all of sudden we heard some say my comps name. We turned around and it was one of our investigators 필호! He is like 14 years old i think but he is just huge. We play basketball with him sometimes and I always tell him that he could definitely play football. Anyways we talked with him for a little and then his sister came up and we started talking with her too. She was actually an exchange student in Iowa for like a year. We invited them both to come
to our english class and they both showed up. It was awesome.

We were also able to have another little miracle happen to us last night. We were just out proselyting when we decided to go visit a family we've been trying to meet with for a while. We met them for the first time my like second week in the field and we havent been able to meet with them since. So we went to there apartment (and for some reason my comp
always wants to take the stairs) so we walked up ten flights of stairs to there apartment. We knocked and no one was home. And then i told him that we should take the elevator down instead of the stairs. So we waited for the elevator and when the doors opened the mom and son of the family stepped out. We talked to her for a second and asked when
we could come back. She said basically to just come back anytime past 7:30. What a miracle! So we've had a few awesome experiences like that.

We were also able to go meet with some of our "family english students" last friday. That basically means that we teach them english for 30 minutes and the gospel for 30 minutes. And i was able to do the introduction to the book or mormon to them. It was super tough but it went pretty well and we committed them to read the into again by themselves. If there is one blessing i haven't been able to really notice on my mission is just your nerves. I think of a lot of the situations and i know that normally i would be super nervous. But for some reason whenever i go into everything i just realize that I'm going to do the most i can do and the lord will take care of everything that i cant do. So i don't worry as much.

I remember my first sunday in korea, maybe about 5 days into the field. And they asked me to bless the sacrament. I had done it once before in the MTC but to actually do
it in front of koreans was a little nerve racking. But i just did it
and i tried to do the best that i could. And in all honesty it wasn't perfect. I messed up in some parts. But i got over it and learned from it. And I've blessed it several times since then and each time i just go into it doing my best and I've gotten better.

There is one little saying that has been floating around in my head a couple times in my mission. It was something my o-linemen coach said to me, "if you don't
know what youre doing you might as well do it full speed. At least that way others will see that you're trying your hardest no matter what." no ones perfect. we all make mistakes. just do your best and learn from your experiences. i hope you all have a great week!
I'll talk to you again soon! Bye.
