Hello everyone!

Well this past week has definitely been one packed with adventures. I guess to start off I should say that I did get transferred. I am now serving in the 연산(Yeon San) area which is right in the middle of main city Busan. So i went from an island to the middle of the city. My new companions name is Elder 정시온(Jeong She On).
I'm actually follow up training him. So I am a senior companion now. Which is crazy because I'm still only in my 6th transfer. But im excited none the less. My last week in Seogwipo was pretty normal. Last pday was super fun though. We went to some museums and then we went to a giant Buddhist temple in near Seogwipo. It was really fun. Tuesday was a little slow and Wednesday was very interesting.

I had another opportunity to eat some crazy Korean food. I found out what it was called this time. Its called 회. So we basically just ate a bunch of raw fish. I guess ill just name a few of the things that I can remember: a lot of raw fish meat, tiny bite sized crabs that you eat whole, sea slug, octopus pieces, squid, fried whole sized tiny puffer fishes, snail out of the shell, abalone, and a bunch of other stuff that I just cant remember. But you know what it was actually really good. It was surprisingly good to be honest.
Then on Thursdays we did some distinct activities and had transfer call night. I came here to Yeon San and Elder Lee stayed in Seogwipo and will actually be training this transfer. So good luck to him. This transfer we are getting 14 new missionaries and next transfer we will be getting 22! So i have a very good likelihood of training next transfer.

Friday we had a lot of different meetings with various investigators and members which were all very nice. And Saturday was very similar. It was hard to leave after serving on the island for a little over 4 months but it was still a little exciting coming to a new area. I gave a short little farewell talk to the branch on Sunday. I was able to look back at all the time that had passed between when I first arrived there to when I left just today. I remember how tough my first week in the area is. Im not sure if you remember my email home that following week but it wasn't necessarily the most uplifting one. But over the course of 4 weeks I learned something.

And that is when we need something to help us along in our lives it usually doesn't come until we have put in enough effort to gain such help. Since that first week in Seogwipo I have still greatly struggled with many challenges and it still isn't easy. But over time and through constant effort on my part, He has been able to compensate for my shortcomings. I fall short of the bar on many if not all days. And I'm just greatful that the Lord is always there by my side to help me along. I know I couldn't do it without him. I love you all! I hope you all have a wonderful week! Till next week! Bye!
