Hello all!
The past couple of days have been a little special and that is why I am emailing a day later than usual. The past couple of days have been Korea's equivalent of Thanksgiving, 주석(Choo Suk). So basically it has stopped most if not all missionary opportunities for the past couple of days. And yesterday for Pday our mission president kind of just made it a big party for the missionaries.

So we ran a 5k marathon, had a bbq, and a lot of the elders came together and formed a pretty fun sports event where we played football, soccer, and basketball. So we are a little sore today because of all the exercise, but it was super fun. And since we had the big party, President Barrow allowed for all the missionaries to do emailing shopping and anything else we need to do until 2 today. So kinda like a short little half pday.

Last week went by fine. We met with an investigator named Hwang Chorl Choong. He was pretty cool. And we met with a lot of members and recent converts because of the holidays. Its always a little hard around the holidays when you get to see a lot of people be with there families, and it makes it a little harder here in Korea knowing that I'm not even awake at the same time as mine.

I remember in the MTC it was pretty easy, coming into the field though it became a little harder. Overtime I've stated to miss my friends and family more and more, but at the same time if I were presented with the opportunity to see them I don't think I would want to. I just feel like I'm needed more here than there. I cant believe that I will be hitting my year mark in just about 2 months. It hasn't seemed that long at all. Its been fun and each new day brings new experiences. Korean is coming along very well. I read from the scriptures in Korean now and understand them for the most part. Speaking has become pretty easy, and understanding is still a little tough but if I really focus and pay attention i'll pick it up. So things are going well. Nothing really else to report. I love you all! Have a wonderful day!
