Sorry i couldn't email last week. We are in a hurry again this week but i wont go two weeks in a row without emailing you all. The past two weeks have actually been really tough. We got dropped by an investigator and our one golden investigator got hurt riding horses, so he hasn't been able to meet for a while.
So we've had to proselyte a lot these past two weeks. Its tough but through experience i know that usually when we kill ourselves proselyting, we will be rewarded. It doesn't help that it has been super hot lately though. However for the past two weeks I have been studying patience. Its a trait that I know that I don't have. Instant gratification has always been something I hvae sought after.
However to attain the characteristic of patience, i believe, can lead to you to be successful in all things. In my studies I have come to realize that patience is more than just not doing anything and waiting. There is a lot more to it. Patience requires that you have an over all state of hope. When we are asked to patiently wait through tribulations, our thinking process through waiting is that of hope. We wait and endure things with love, joy, and a hope of a good outcome. To liken that into today's life and times, the application is obvious. In some situations we cant do anything. But in reality when we exercise patience, we are exercising our faith. We are trusting in the Lord and in His will, with a hope of a desirable outcome in His sight. I by no means have come even close to attaining this trait. Though i strive daily it is one that is, like i said, a state of mind more than anything. But i will continue to try and to exercise my faith even more.
For food i probably had one of the strangest foods I've had in Korea so far. That being tacos. Ya i hadn't realized that i hadn't eaten them for like 6 months. So it was very strange when i ate them.
Thats all the time i have. Ill talk to you all again next week. Love you!
