Well this past week was fun but a little tough because of the weather. Tuesday night we went to the northern half of the island for an activity, and on our way home back to Seogwipo I remember driving back in the bus and looking at the sky. It was pretty creepy to see these clouds just black as night like moving closer towards us as we drove into it. But the actual storm didn't hit us until Wednesday.

We had to go to Jeju City and when we walked out of our house it was crazy. The wind was by far the craziest part of it. It rained a bit but the wind was just super fast and so the rain was basically horizontal. So when we walked we put our umbrellas in front of us to stay dry. But the wind was coming from all different directions so a lot of umbrellas got broken that day.

We had some appointments but they got cancelled which was a little expected. And since the other elders on the islands house got flooded they had to stay at our house for a couple of days. But after the typhoon on Wednesday when we went back out on Thursday the weather was like the exact opposite. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the weather was pretty hot.

We did service that day and picked up all the debris at one members bead and breakfast place. But after Thursday the sky has been pretty overcast and it has rained a little bit off and on. My companion told me that Sunday in the earl morning there was a whole bunch of lightning and thunder. But I slept through it all so I didn't hear it. But it rained a good amount on Sunday too. So that's what it has been like for the past couple of days. Just praying for good weather. But we are always staying positive down here.

I'm always excited for every new day. I'm glad to be serving a mission and I cant believe its already been 8 months. I've been really studying hard lately to master Korean, and I am sure it will pay off sooner or later. I love you all and hope you all have a great week. Bye!
